Amba Liveaboard - one of the few boats that offers diving around Nothern atolls of Maldives. with its' untouched corals and a chance to see sharks. She has a special stabilizer system - 15 tons of additional weight at the deepest point of the ship to prevent a rolling and seasickness. There is a very spacious lounge area on the top deck of the boat with a shaded part and cushioned sun loungers. The luxury cabin has a privet sun deck.
Boat Interior
11 Amba’ cabins can accommodate 22 divers and their fellow travelers. This boat can offer to stay at one of the upper deck cabins. This can be a double bed cabin, twin room to share with another diver or luxury cabin featured with a private sundeck. In the lower deck, there are two doubles and five twin bed cabin. Salon on Amba is big and has cozy soft sofas. It has a TV and DVD, you can play board games with other guests on a boat. The sundeck is perfect to relax after dives or in between and enjoy the gorgeous view. The shaded area has tables and chairs and several sun loungers.
Dive Deck
Two diving dhonies of Amba Liveaboard equipped with all might be needed for comfortable diving. Divers can use storage boxes for their gear. Nitrox is available on board of Amba.
Safety
Safety is always important. Crew team of Amba trained to manage emergency situations and now first aid. There are life vests and emergency rafts on board, also firefighting equipment in each cabin.
Itinerary
Itineraries of Amba includes visiting of North and Far North Atolls. This destination features a variety of corals. Black coral bushes, lots of sponges and anemones can be spotted while diving here. Colorful coral walls attract numerous fish: schools of yellow snappers, lobsters, leopard sharks. Sharks are common for this diving destination. Napoleon wrasse and big mantas can be often seen near north atolls. Maldives atoll will impress even experienced divers. Pinnacles and walls, reefs and drop-offs represent diving on North Atolls.
When to go
Diving on the Maldives is possible all year round. Best conditions are from December to May, plenty of plankton bring to Maldives lots of fish and pelagics. In Summer months weather conditions sometimes can be rough for diving.
