A fleet of Freedom boats for both daily diving and safaris:
For daily diving a typical day starts around 08:00 with a short walk from the dive center to our jetty. On the journey to the dive site your guide will brief you about the site and the various safety procedures. The boats normally arrive back at the jetty between 16:00 – 17:30.In summer special diving trips can be arranged at 16:00 to try and spot the elusive hammerhead sharks at the back of Jackson Reef in Tiran – as all the day boats will have left by then you will often be the only boat in the area.
Sharks Bay Umbi Diving Village has 5 boats, the “Freedom fleet” giving us the flexibility to offer tailor-made liveaboard safaris with a guaranteed departure of only 6 guests. Dive centers fleet includes 2 air-conditioned boats that can be used for the liveaboards; the newest boat being Freedom III which is well equipped with a Nitrox compressor and all en-suite cabins. All boats have oxygen, first aid and Emergency First Response trained staff
