Tuffy (also known as Tuffy Rocks, Tuffy Canyons, or San Pedro Canyons), is located near the Tackle Box. The site is named after a shrimp boat named Tuffy that went down years ago. There are deep cracks and narrow tunnels with lots of marine creatures. There is a reef drop-off, located at 24-27m/79-88ft deep in depth.

When to go

Diving is available at Tuffy is all-year-round. The best time to dive is December to April. The average water temperature is 28C/83F.

What to see

The site is well-known for vigorous marine life. Divers can spot lots of angelfish, parrotfish, snapper, grouper, jacks, crabs, lobsters, eels, eagle rays, barracudas, sharks, turtles, and sponges. This site is sprinkled with corals that shelter anthias and wrasses. There are also giant coral structures and staghorn corals.
