Dardanellos Cut suggests a reef cut or channel, where water movement through the barrier reef can increase fish activity. It is best framed as a current-aware Belize reef dive with sand channels, coral walls, and passing marine life.
What to see
Jacks, snappers, grunts, barracuda, reef fish, sponges, sea fans, nurse sharks, rays, and turtles may be seen. The cut may concentrate fish when current is moving.
When To Go Diving
Best dived in suitable tide and calmer dry-season weather, usually December to May. Water is generally around 26–29°C, with visibility often good outside windy periods.
