West Point 1 & 2 suggests a pair of Belize reef-edge sites, likely offering two slightly different profiles along the same point. One may be gentler and the other more exposed, giving divers a choice between coral detail and blue-water edge.
What to see
Sea fans, sponges, hard corals, snappers, grunts, parrotfish, reef sharks, eagle rays, turtles, and jacks may be seen. The point setting may concentrate fish when current is present.
When To Go Diving
December to May is generally best for calmer seas and visibility, with March to June also strong for liveaboards. Water usually ranges from 26–29°C.
