All about Tarpon Caves dive site
Tarpon Caves is a Belize site where cave-like reef structure and large fish potential give the dive its character. The name suggests tarpon may shelter in openings or pass through nearby reef channels.

What to see
Tarpon may be seen around the caves, along with silversides, groupers, snappers, soldierfish, sponges, sea fans, lobsters, and crabs. Turtles or reef sharks may appear along the outer reef.
When To Go Diving
December to May is usually the best overall window, with clearer water and calmer seas. Water is warm year-round, generally around 26–29°C.
