Silver Caves suggests a Belize reef site with swim-throughs, shaded cuts, or cave-like openings where light and fish movement create the main atmosphere. It should be approached as a recreational cavern or swim-through-style reef unless a local operator confirms technical requirements.
What to see
Silversides may gather in shaded spaces, along with soldierfish, squirrelfish, reef fish, sponges, sea fans, crabs, lobsters, and small invertebrates. Reef sharks or rays may pass outside the cave structure.
When To Go Diving
Best conditions are usually during the dry season from December to May. Water temperatures generally sit around 26–29°C, with offshore visibility often strongest in calm weather.
