All about Tuckle Bucket Canyon dive site
Tuckle Bucket Canyon is likely a local spelling or variation of Tackle Box Canyon, an Ambergris Caye-area canyon site known for reef cuts and photographic structure. It offers a strong sense of movement, with coral corridors, sandy lanes, and fish activity around the edges.
What to see
Reef sharks, nurse sharks, snappers, jacks, grunts, angelfish, sponges, hard corals, and sea fans may be seen. The canyon formations are especially good for wide-angle reef photography.
When To Go Diving
December to May is usually the best period for calmer seas and clearer water. Water temperatures generally range from 26–29°C, with visibility often excellent when wind and current are favourable.
