This liveaboard is like a 5-star resort in the sea. Built and designed specifically for sailing in Galapagos weather conditions. Great relaxation areas with partially covered sundeck and jacuzzi. All cabins are suitable for double occupancy and twin sharing due to convertible beds. Highly personalized service will make your holiday exceptional.
Boat interior
Tiburon Explorer has 9 cabins to accommodate 16 passengers. All cabins have private ocean views, and even lower deck rooms are raised to have windows which is rare for liveaboards. Each cabin has a spacious private shower and individually controlled air conditioning. Staterooms are supplied with convertible beds which means that you can book a cabin for a couple or share it with another diver. The main cabin feature is that they all have a sea view.
The boat features a covered sun deck with a jacuzzi. Also, there is a salon with an entertainment area and a bar. The yacht offers special dedicated facilities for photographers like the camera table and charging station.
Diving
The dive deck offers a generous space for storing equipment and individual charging stations. All dives will be made from two pangas. For EANx-certified divers nitrox is available onboard. Equipment items can be rented as well as DIN adaptors. For underwater photographers, there are special facilities.
Safety and navigation
Liveaboard was made for sailing in the cold waters of the Galapagos. Reinforced metal hull, modern fire fighting system, motorized tenders, easy access to escape staircases - everything brought to ensure the safety on board. The boat is also equipped with life rafts and vests, an emergency position locator, flares, oxygen, and first aid kits.
Diving features
Galapagos Islands are truly unique. Due to its remoteness, lots of endemic creatures live here. Sharks and nudibranchs, turtles, schools of tuna, eagle rays, and sea lions are very common. Underwater photographers will be delighted to spot sea horses, barnacle blennies, coral hawkfish, and many others.
When to go
Water temperature ranges from 18-23 C (65 -75 F). During the rainy season from December to May, it is slightly higher. Currents can be relatively strong. You will need at least a 7 mm wetsuit

Tiburon Explorer November 2024Verified review
Superlative in every way!!! Diving was simply phenomenal (including schools of hammerheads at Wolf Island , whale sharks at Darwin, marine iguanas at Fernandina Island, rays, sea lions, turtles and lots more). And the live aboard experience- food, facilities, service, extra gestures here and there, was exceptional. Highly recommend.

Best Liveaboard Ever!Verified review
The holidays aboard Tiburon Explorer were totally amazing. We went on April and had a wonderful experience. Saw tons of hammerhead sharks, mola mola, marine iguanas, flighless cormorant and much more. The guides, Natalia and David, were amazing and very professional. The crew aboard the cruise provided a superb service, so you could just focus on diving. The rooms were excellent, the food incredible and the overall service was from a luxury hotel. I will recommend it to anyone interested in a diving cruise in Galapagos!
