Emperor HD Liveaboard, Egypt

The Emperor HD liveaboard is a 40-metre steel dive vessel built for Red Sea itineraries. With 14 en-suite cabins and space for up to 28 guests, the yacht balances capacity with comfort through thoughtful design and efficient layout. Fully air-conditioned, the vessel includes dedicated leisure areas, a well-equipped dive deck, and modern communication and safety systems. Cabin Types

Main Deck Twin

The main deck features eight twin cabins, each measuring approximately 12 square metres. All cabins include individually controlled air conditioning, two single beds, and en-suite bathrooms of 4.5 square metres. Cabin towels are provided, and hairdryers are available on request.

Upper Deck Double

Two upper deck cabins are fitted with double beds. These rooms are around 11 square metres in size, with the same en-suite layout and amenities as other cabins. Each has its own climate control, with natural light from exterior windows.

Upper Deck Twin

Two additional upper deck cabins are arranged with twin beds and private bathrooms. The dimensions and features mirror those of the double rooms. All guests benefit from a same-sex cabin share policy with no single supplement if no pairing is available.

Boat Interior

Indoor spaces include an upper deck lounge with air conditioning, a large television, and a coffee machine service. The lower deck houses a fully air-conditioned dining room with ample seating for all guests. Outdoor common areas feature sofas, deckchairs, and a Jacuzzi tub onboard. A bar serving local alcoholic and soft drinks is located on the Captain’s deck. Throughout the vessel, areas are non-smoking, and daily housekeeping service is included.

Dive Deck

The MV Emperor HD liveaboard Egypt has a dive deck measuring 8×8 metres and an adjacent 6×7.5m dive platform. Two tenders with 85HP engines support diving activities, each equipped with ladders for water access. Free Nitrox is available via a membrane system, and tanks include standard 12L aluminium with optional 15L steel. The vessel accommodates technical diving support, rebreather diving, and sidemount diving upon request. A minimum of three dive guides is on board each trip. A full range of rental dive equipment is available with prior arrangement. Divers are required to use a dive computer and SMB, and carry torches during night dives. PADI courses are also available, including Advanced Open Water and various specialties.

Safety

The Emperor HD Egypt includes a centralized alarm and firefighting system with battery backup. Smoke detectors, CO₂ monitors, and heat sensors are installed throughout. Fire extinguishers, fire blankets, night watch protocols, and emergency fire lines are part of the standard setup. Two life rafts are onboard (each accommodating 25 people), alongside emergency oxygen, AED, and a full first aid kit. Navigation tools include radar, GPS, AIS, VHF, MF, satellite phone, and EPIRB.

Itinerary

This dive boat explores the northern and southern Red Sea, depending on the selected trip. Itineraries include notable Egyptian dive sites such as Brothers Islands, Elphinstone, and Ras Mohammed. Guests can consult the schedule to choose routes suited for wreck diving, wall diving, or coral-rich regions. Snorkel-friendly trips are available, and optional private dive guide hire can be arranged.

Dive Facilities

The Emperor HD liveaboard is equipped with a full range of diving support systems. Nitrox is available free of charge, up to a concentration of 32%. The dive deck includes a dedicated camera table and charging stations, along with rinse tanks for underwater photography equipment. Two tenders, each fitted with a ladder, assist with dive entries and exits. The vessel supports sidemount and rebreather configurations, with technical diving available upon request. These facilities accommodate a variety of diver preferences and allow for efficient and organized dive operations.

Boat Navigation & Safety

Navigation and communication systems include radar, GPS, AIS, and both fixed and portable VHF radio. The vessel also carries a satellite phone and an EPIRB distress system to maintain communication and emergency readiness. Fire extinguishers are strategically located throughout the yacht, and life jackets are provided for all guests. Meals are served in a buffet style with a selection of Western cuisine and local Egyptian dishes. Vegan meal options and vegetarian menu selections are offered. Wine is included with dinner. A full-service dining room is located on the lower deck. Snacks, tea, and coffee are available throughout the day.

Onboard Facilities

The sun deck features loungers, cushioned seating, and access to the Jacuzzi. Other facilities include the indoor lounge with entertainment and a reading area. Charging stations are provided for guest devices. Wi-Fi is available through complimentary SIM cards offering 11.5GB of data per person.

Photographer Facilities

The dive deck includes a camera table and dedicated rinse tanks. Charging stations are available to support underwater camera gear. Additional space for gear storage is integrated into the dive platform design
