Stingray Liveaboard, Maldives

MV Stingray is one of the boats of Maldives Boat Club. She is a modern wooden yacht that specialized on diving safari on Maldives.

Nine comfortable cabins of Stingray liveaboard can accommodate 18 passengers. 4 rooms have double beds and 5 rooms are with twin beds and can be share with another diver on board if you traveling alone. Cabins of MV Stingray has private showers and air conditioning.
Stingray’s salon has cozy sofas and big portholes to watch the view. It has entertaining facilities. You can watch a movie on DVD or read a book between dives. Boats guest can spend also evening here chatting with each other. Stingray can offer to relax at the open-air part on the main deck where meals are served.

Safety

There is all necessary safety equipment on board of Stingray: life jackets, emergency rafts, fire extinguishers and first aid kit. Itineraries
Diving itineraries of Stingray liveaboard include the best of Maldives Atolls. You can choose 7 nights or 14 nights trip. Week safari includes diving at South and North Male atolls, Ari Atolls and Rasdhoo. North Male diving features with currents, drop-offs, caves and reefs. It's great for observing mantas at Manta Point, tunas, jacks. Sometimes reef sharks can be seen. Strong currents of South Male Atoll attracts plenty of pelagic fish like grey reef sharks and groupers. For Ari Atolls diving with hammerheads are common. Also, it’s a great destination to dive with mantas and whale sharks. Stingray’ two-week safari include Vaavu and Meemu atolls besides Male and Ari atolls. Largest unbroken corals ref of Maldives located near Vaavu Atoll. It’s a great opportunity to dive with sharks and mantas. Big Napoleon wrasses are often met here.

When to Go

November to May considered as the best time to visit Maldives although scuba diving is possible Maldives all year round. Average water temperature is about 26-29°C. Eastern atolls have the best visibility from December to March.
