Roe Reef is located close to Perth in Western Australia and is known for canyons, swim-throughs, and caves within a limestone reef formation. It features an enormous arch covered by corals.

When to go

It is possible to dive at Roe Reef year-round. The hottest months are January and February. July is the coldest month, and June is the wettest. The water temperature averages 18C/64F in September and 23C/73F in February.

What to see

Roe Reef is full of colorful nudibranchs, tiny tropical fish of all colors, and small creatures. It is a great site for macro photography and heaven for crayfish divers. It is easy to spot boxfish, blue devilfish, butterflyfish, cuttlefish, leatherjackets, surgeonfish, and angelfish.
