All about The Pinnacles dive site
The Pinnacles is a Whitsunday-style topography dive where coral columns and isolated structures rise from the seabed. Its appeal lies in vertical shape, fish movement, and the feeling of weaving between underwater towers.
What to see
Bait balls, trevally, reef sharks, fusiliers, coral trout, and schooling fish may gather around the structures. Look also for small reef species sheltering in cracks and coral heads.
When To Go Diving
Slack water is usually preferred, especially where current can move around the pinnacles. Conditions are often strongest from May to November, with warmest water from December to February.
