Itinerary
The Whirlwind liveaboard Red Sea follows routes focused on the region’s most celebrated wrecks and reefs. Divers can explore the Abu Nuhas ship cemetery, where vessels such as Giannis D and Carnatic lie at varying depths and are now coated with coral. The itinerary also includes the Rosalie Moller, a deeper wreck known for its preserved structure and abundant marine life, and the SS Thistlegorm, one of the Red Sea’s most famous WWII wrecks, where motorcycles and trucks still rest on the deck. Dives at Ras Mohammed National Park offer a contrast of colourful reef systems and schooling fish.
When to Go
Diving is possible year-round in Egypt. The Red Sea’s visibility and warm water temperatures make it suitable in every season, though winter months can bring cooler air temperatures. Each period offers unique underwater encounters, from clear summer conditions to active marine life throughout the year.
