Leyla Liveaboard, Indonesia

Leyla a small traditional liveaboard, accommodates up to 8 passengers. She is perfect for traveling with family and kids. Non-diving activities are offered. Boat’s itineraries include diving near the Raja Ampat, which can be considered as one of the reachest diving destinations in the world, Komodo, famous for macro diving and varied underwater landscapes.

Boat Interior
4 boat’s cabins can accommodate up to 8 passengers. 2 starboard cabins have one double bed and one single. The front cabin has a double and 2 single beds and perfects if you travel with children. There is also a master cabin with a double bed. All staterooms are fully air-conditioned and equipped with their own bathroom. Organic and natural toiletries are available.
Leyla offers great opportunities to relax in between diving - a spacious diving room with air conditioning and an outdoor sitting area perfect to enjoy the view.

Safety
Safety is one of the main priority for the boat’s crew. The boat has life rafts, life jackets, life rings, sea radio, satellite radio, visual and audio signaling devices (flares, horns), emergency oxygen, and first aid kit. Diving
Up to 3 dives usually offered per day. Night dives are also possible.

Non-diving activities
You don’t necessarily have to dedicate your vacation on board of Leyla only to diving. Snorkeling and kayaking are possible. It’s also great if you travel with non-diving friends or family members.

Itinerary features
Leyla offers a variety of diving itineraries. For busy travelers 4 and 5 nights trips to Komodo will be great. They also can be easily combined to resort accommodation. If you plan to dedicate to diving in Indonesia more time, you can choose a 7 nights trips to Komodo and Raja Ampat. There are also routs dedicated to macro diving.
Komodo and Raja Ampat are most famous diving destinations for Indonesia. Komodo is great for diversity of underwater landscapes from seamounts to walls. This region has strong vertical up and down currents and more suitable for experienced divers. However, some dive sites are also can be visited with OWD certification.
Raja Ampat is known as the reachest destination. There an only a few places on Earth where such a variety of marine creatures and corals can be found. Leyla’s itineraries focused on particular parts of this region, like Wayag, Misool, Dampier Straights. 1,508 fish species, 537 coral species, and 699 mollusk species are staggering.

When to Go
Diving in Komodo available all year round. The best season can be considered from April till August. Water temperature ranges in this time of the year from 20 to 28C (68-82F). From November the temperature increases to 30C (86F)
