This is one of the most spectacular dive sites in Gozo. Diving here is available for divers of all levels. There is a small inland sea and an 80m/262ft long gulley leading to the open sea. Divers entering and surfacing within the gulley must keep to the sides due to the small pleasure boats. Once outside the gulley, the seabed, covered with large and small boulders, suddenly drops further down to 50m/164ft to a sandy bottom.

This area is rich with marine life including john dory, octopus, cardinal fish, barracuda, parrot fish and spotted doris.
When To Go Diving
Diving is available year-round. The average depth of the site is 18-35m/59-114ft with water visibility of around 20m/65ft. The average air temperature is 10-15C/50-59 F in the winter and 21-30C/70-83F in the summer. The average water temperature is about 14-17C/58-63F from December through April and 18-25C/65-77F from May through November.
