Access to the site is either to the right or the left of the headland. The reef is cut by numerous crevices, fissures, small overhangs, and there are two chimneys that divers may choose to explore. One of the chimneys runs from 17m/55ft to 6m/20ft and is full of star corals and lots of scorpion fish and cardinal fish. The other chimney is slightly more tricky and should be dived by more experienced divers. At a depth of 25m/82ft below sea level there is a sandy parapet, from where divers descend along a big wall that runs down to over 60m/197ft. The site is well-known among fisherman and the water can be choppy, making entry and exit challenging. Close to this site the Billinghurst's Cave can be found.

When To Go Diving

Scuba diving is available year-round. The average water temperature varies from 14C to 25C/63- 77F. The high season is considered to be from May to November.
