Unity liveaboard is a Red Sea diving boat designed around convenience, comfort, space, light, and diving. Originally built in 1998, with a full refurbishment and hull rebuild completed in 2024, Unity Egypt combines a classic wooden hull with upgraded safety features and a layout created to carry up to 24 guests and 3 guides in comfort.

At 33 metres long with a 7.5-metre beam, 4 decks, and a cruising speed of 8 knots, Unity liveaboard Egypt offers a spacious setup for Red Sea diving, with accommodation options ranging from budget-friendly lower deck cabins to mid-deck sea view rooms. The vessel is available for charter and is also non-diver friendly, making MV Unity liveaboard suitable for groups with different travel styles.

Boat Interior

Unity Egypt liveaboard has 12 cabins with en-suite bathrooms and individually controlled air conditioning. Guests can choose between lower deck cabins and superior sea view rooms on the mid deck, with accommodation designed to suit different budgets.

The upper deck combines the kitchen, dining, and terrace areas. Guests can dine inside the air-conditioned lounge or outside on the terrace, creating two different meal settings depending on the mood of the day. The dining setup includes indoor dining with air conditioning, al fresco dining, buffet-style meals, full board, all-day snacks, and free soft drinks.

Food on board brings together Egyptian, European, and other international specialties. Vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, and other dietary requirements can be catered for. Unity serves five freshly prepared meals per day, while water, tea, coffee, and soft drinks are included in the cruise price. Beer, liquor, and a selection of wine are available at an additional charge, with liquor and wine available on pre-order.

The salon includes a flat-screen TV/DVD and home cinema surround sound. Guests can also relax on one of three lounge decks and take in the views of the Red Sea between dives.

Non-diving Activities

Unity Egypt liveaboard is non-diver friendly, with comfortable shared areas for guests who prefer time above the surface. Between dives, guests can relax in the large salon with flat-screen TV/DVD and home cinema surround sound, enjoy the air-conditioned dining lounge, sit outside on the terrace, or use one of the three lounge decks to look out over the Red Sea.

The boat also places emphasis on education, with talks and materials about the marine life and ecosystems guests may encounter. This gives the trip a more informed rhythm, where time between dives can be used to better understand the underwater world.

Itineraries

Unity liveaboard Egypt explores a variety of Red Sea diving locations, including Brothers Islands, Straits of Tiran, and wrecks in Ras Mohamed National Park.

The diving can include wrecks, macro life, drift dives with large pelagics, hidden bays, and islands. Whether the day is shaped around the open-water energy of the Brothers Islands, the channels of Tiran, or the wrecks of Ras Mohamed National Park, MV Unity liveaboard Egypt is set up for varied Red Sea diving supported by an experienced crew and dedicated dive tenders.

Boat for Photographers

Unity liveaboard has a camera charging station and rinse hoses and tanks, making it practical for underwater photographers returning from repeated dives.

The Red Sea programme can include wreck diving, macro, drift dives with large pelagics, hidden bays, and island areas, giving photographers a varied mix of subjects and underwater scenes across the itinerary
