Princess Handy Liveaboard, Maldives

Princess Handy is a wooden yacht, made on Maldives in 2008. In 2014 she was totally renovated. This comfortable boat was designed for divers. The yacht is a member of Macana divers Maldives.

Boat interior

The boat can accommodate 22 passengers. The total amount of cabins on a board of Princess Handy is 11. 5 rooms located on the upper deck and 6 is on the lower deck. Upper deck staterooms have double beds, as well as 2 cabins on the lower deck. Other 4 cabins suit for triple occupancy. All cabins have private shower and individual air conditioning.
Princess Handy gives you an opportunity to spend time after diving in comfort. Boats guests can watch a movie in the lounge area or just sit and relax on cozy sofas. There are also a few open air parts with sun loungers, perfect to read a book and enjoy marine sceneries.

Dive deck

Princess Handy has both a dhonie and a diving tender. There you will find tanks and compressors. Here divers will are comfortable during the preparations for the dive. Tenders will get you to the most interesting dive sites.

Safety

Princess Handy has all needed safety equipment on board: life vests, first aid kit, emergency rafts. Non-diver on board

November to May is a high season for Maldives. Best visibility and comfortable water temperature are more common in this time. December to May is a time of northwest monsoon. Current can be strong in this period. Southwest monsoon begins in June and lasts until November. It can be more cloudy and rainy that can cause rough conditions for diving.
