Princess Dhonkamana, Maldives

Exciting diving, energetic dive guides, good foodVerified review

Just spent a week on this boat and it's a wonderful trip. At first it's a little bit boring and not much to see except sharks until we spotted groups of eagle rays and tiger sharks. The boat is a bit old but well maintained, the room is spacious enough, and it's clean and tidy. Their tanks are steel so you don't need lots of weights. The manager is an energetic Italian lady who worked in Maldives for over 20 years so she knows every spot. The food is delicious especially the pasta. There are two downsides too. 1. The air conditioner in my room is noisy. 2. The checkout time is 7am and you need to hang out in Male for a long time unless your flight is early.

Top-notch Diving Team, Excellent Value-For-MoneyVerified review

Amazing value-for-money proposition, but also a very high-quality trip offered by the Princess Dhonkamana team. Top-notch diving team and guides, meaning that the expectations in terms of diving are a high standard, challenging, and satisfying.

Highly recommended!!!Verified review

We are truly happy to have chosen the Princess Dhonkamana Liveaboard. We have wonderful memories from the eight days and seven nights. Thank you, Martina, for all the care and arrangements. We had a great time and were very satisfied with the food, as every meal was so abundant. Diving with people from different cultures and countries was a joy, and we thoroughly enjoyed it. We even had the chance to visit Male city, wander around, relax, and shop for souvenirs. This trip was definitely worth it. Thank you, Divebooker, for patiently answering all my questions before the trip! Highly recommended!!!
