Ben's Blue Hole is located near the south coast of Grand Bahama Island. The ledge features a blue hole that extends lengthwise along an underwater crack, east of the mooring line. This ledge is a blue hole that runs along an undersea crevasse, east from the mooring line. Also a smaller blue hole can be discovered behind a large coral head along the crevasse. Besides being a great site for diving this site may present some interest for Marine Biologists and underwater photographers. The site is suitable for divers of all levels.

When To Go Diving

The winters are usually mild and dry, while summers are hot and wet. The high season for diving is from November through April with the average water temperature staying around 24-26C/75-78F.

What to see

Among the marine species occupying the site divers can spot jacks, snappers, schoolmasters, dogsnappers, porkfish and schools of creole wrasse.
