All about Agincourt Reef dive site

Agincourt Reef is part of the outer Great Barrier Reef near Port Douglas, known for clear-water reef edges and classic coral formations. It offers a more oceanic mood than inner reef sites, with bright coral gardens and deeper blue water.

What to see

Hard corals, soft corals, reef sharks, turtles, fusiliers, anemonefish, parrotfish, wrasse, and giant clams may be seen. Outer edges may attract trevally and other passing pelagics.

When To Go Diving

June to November is generally favoured for clearer conditions, while December to February brings warmer water. Visibility can be excellent on calm outer-reef days, and water commonly ranges from 24–29°C.
