Flynn Reef
Swimming Pools 1 is associated with Milln Reef, where the name reflects clear, sheltered, lagoon-like conditions when the weather cooperates. It is a gentle, bright reef dive with a relaxed rhythm.
What to see
Diagonally banded sweetlips and nudibranchs are known from the Swimming Pools area. Divers may also see turtles, reef fish, parrotfish, soft corals, and small crustaceans.
When To Go Diving
Visibility at Milln Reef is often listed around 15–20 metres, and currents are typically mild. June to November is generally reliable, with water around 24–27°C, while summer is warmer.
