All about Caves dive site

Caves is a topography-focused reef dive, where swim-throughs, overhangs, and shadowed openings add drama to the coral scene. It should be treated as a recreational cavern-style site unless local briefings confirm otherwise.

What to see

Soldierfish, squirrelfish, soft corals, reef fish, nudibranchs, crabs, and lobsters may shelter in darker areas. Turtles, coral trout, and reef sharks may pass outside the openings.

When To Go Diving

Best in good visibility and gentle current, usually during settled dry-season periods. Water temperatures on tropical Queensland reefs are generally around 24–29°C.
