All about Jew Shoal dive site
Jew Shoal, near Noosa, is a Sunshine Coast reef dive with bommies, swim-throughs, and scattered reef structure. It offers a softer alternative to deeper wreck diving, with fish-filled gullies and subtropical marine life.
What to see
Look for wobbegongs, turtles, reef fish, nudibranchs, rays, soft corals, and schools of baitfish. On the right day, the site can also attract pelagic visitors.
When To Go Diving
April to November is usually a good window for the Sunshine Coast, with cooler water but often more settled visibility. Summer brings warmer water but can be more affected by rain, swell, and wind.
