All about Washing Machine dive site
Washing Machine is a dive site presented by 7 canyons of various depths. The current runs fast and pulls divers through the canyons, pushing them from side to side and creating an effect of a roller coaster ride. Only seasoned divers can make it through the spins and enjoy the sea life on the way. In addition to being quite an experience by itself with its currents, Washing Machine features quite an interesting collection of underwater life.
What to see
Grey reef and white-tip sharks, manta rays, rare hammerhead sharks and barracudas can be spotted around this dive site. There are also many wrasses, jacks, tunas and snappers for divers to watch.
When To Go Diving
The months from January till May are the best ones to dive Washing Machine, though it is possible to come here at any time of the year. The average air temperature stays within 26-29C/79-84F range, while the water can reach even higher temperatures of 28-29C/82-84F.
