Scuba diving in Oslob

This spot, situated in the southeastern part of Cebu Province, is well-known as a site for whale shark watching, which first started in September of 2011. Local fishermen started feeding the whale sharks who came to visit the area and as a result many tourists come here specifically to see the whale sharks being fed and to snorkel and dive among them. Unfortunately, when the water is too muddy these sharks are not coming for feeding.
When to go
There is a dry season from February to September and the wet season that starts in October. The average water temperature ranges around 27-30C/80-86F.
