What to see

Ray Point (or Chiquita Reef) is a deep and not very long dive site located in the Sosua area of Dominican Republic. It features an amazing vertical wall overgrown with numerous black corals. The site is great as a drift dive. The dive starts at the depth of around 25m/82ft and keeps going down to approximately 40m/130ft while the water visibility remains clear. Ray Point is situated between Zingara wreck and Three Rocks dive sites and can be reached from the Sosua beach by boat. The main occupants of the site are various stingrays along with Eagle Rays and Manta Rays as well as colorful tropical fish, lobsters and big spider crabs. This site is also favored by colonies of fluorescent blue trigger fish which prefer places with high depth.
