All about Great Wall dive site
Great Wall suggests one of the Dominican Republic’s more dramatic drop-off dives, where the reef falls into deeper Caribbean blue. It has a grander, more vertical feel than Mini Wall, especially when visibility opens up the full scale of the descent.
What to see
Divers may see wall sponges, sea fans, black coral in deeper sections, grunts, snappers, jacks, barracuda, turtles, rays, and reef fish moving along the drop-off.
When To Go Diving
The site is best in calm conditions, with December to May often reliable on the south coast. Water generally ranges from 24–30°C, and visibility can reach around 30 metres or more in settled weather.
