Garden eels
Eel Garden in Dahab is famous for its sandy slope filled with garden eels, backed by coral reef and clear Gulf of Aqaba water. It is a calm, distinctive dive where behaviour and small details make the site memorable.
What to see
Garden eels are the headline, with coral reef fish, anthias, parrotfish, butterflyfish, wrasse, moray eels, blue-spotted rays, and small macro life also present.
When To Go Diving
Best in spring and autumn, with water around 22–28°C and visibility often excellent. Calm conditions help with entry and photography.
