3. Darwin’s Triangle
This adventure includes San Cristobal, Isabela and Santa Cruz, where you will sea lots of wild and marine animals, endemic flora and amazing landscapes. San Cristobal, (Chatham) also called one of the oldest of the Galapagos islands that is still above water, composed of 3 or 4 volcanoes (all extinct). Is the island where Darwin first went ashore in 1835. Santa Cruz, (Indefatigable) a large dormant volcano situated in the center of the Archipelago, and the second largest island in the Galapagos. Isabela (Albemarle) is the largest island of the Galapagos, famous because of its sea horse shape. Is one of the youngest islands, formed by the merger of 6 shield volcanoes.

Selections at pharmacies in Ecuador and the Galapagos Islands are not generally as extensive as at home and are frequently more expensive. You may want to carry some basic first aid items with you. As with any medication, you should first consult your physician before taking.

GALAPAGOS NATIONAL PARK REGULATIONS
You will be visiting a Natural Heritage Site, therefore you must follow the rules imposed by the controlling authorities such as the Galapagos National Park. During your visits the naturalist guides will emphasize these regulations:
*Do not remove animals, plants, rocks or their remains (including shells, bones, and pieces of wood) from the islands.
*Be careful not to transport any live animals to the islands, or from island to island.
*Do not take any food to the uninhabited islands.
*Do not touch or handle the animals.
*Do not feed the animals. It can be dangerous, and it can destroy the animals’ social structure and breeding habits.
*Do not disturb or chase any animal from its resting or nesting place.
Stay within the designated visiting areas.
*Do not litter while on land or sea.
*Do not deface the rocks.
*Do not buy souvenirs or objects made of plants or animals from the islands.
*Keep on mind that most of the tours must be accompanied by a licensed National Park Guide.
*Restrict your visits to officially permitted areas.
*Conservation is everyone’s business. Please do not hesitate to show your conservationist attitude

PAYMENT / CANCELLATION POLICIES
The Red Mangrove Galapagos Lodge has established the following payment policies in order to maintain strong relationships with guests and clients.
All reservations must be made and confirmed by e-mail
In order to assure yourself space, booking should be made at least 3 months in advance.
2. PAYMENT: (For both Guests & Agencies)
CREDIT CARD (VISA OR MASTERCARD)/ PAYPAL/WEB SITE:
Guests will have to make a down payment of 50% of the total amount for the Red Mangrove Galapagos Lodges programs in order to secure the spaces at the lodges. The balance must be deposited 20 days before your arrival.
In order to cancel a booking, please adhere to the following procedures in accordance with our policies:
Notification at least 75 days prior to the start of the intended arrival, will reimburse the full deposit.
Notification between 40 to 74 days prior to arrival date, will reimburse 50% of the deposit.
Notification between 39 to 21 days prior to arrival date, the total deposit will be charged.
Notification between 20 to 0 days prior to arrival, full payment of the total reservation will be charged.
