Barracuda Lake is one of the most unusual and amazing dive sites in the Philippines, located on the north shore of the fascinating Coron Island. The lake's name comes from an extremely large barracuda living in the lake. The site is suitable for divers of all experience levels.

When To Go Diving

Diving is possible all year round. The average air temperature is 23-36C/73-96F. The water temperature ranges from 28C/82F (surface to 18m/59ft deep) to 40C/104F (14-35m/46-115ft deep).

What to see

There isn’t much marine life to see: a family of rabbitfish, small catfish, shells, and freshwater shrimp, and sometimes snapper, batfish, and pufferfish cross through a narrow channel from the sea.

imes. It is very relaxing. The water is very clear and blue. Not a lot of fish or corals but interesting none the less. There is supposedly a large barracuda in the lake, hence the name. It is definitely worth diving as it is a unique experience
