The El Dorado House Reef is located on Negros Island. It’s a large, 80m/262ft-long reef. The bottom of this spot is covered in seagrass at 6m/20ft deep, and lots of small creatures hide in the underwater grasses. At a depth of 8m/26ft, divers can explore the beautiful coral reef. Divers will also enjoy night diving at this site to explore the mystique of the nocturnal marine world.

When to go

The weather is warm throughout the year, and the air temperature ranges from 29-35C/84-95F. The best time to dive is from November to May, when it is dry and visibility can be more than 30m/100ft. The water temperature varies from 25-31C/77-88F.

What to see

In the seagrass between corals and sponges, divers can see stingrays, turtles, angelfish, clownfish, shrimp, pipefish, and frogfish, which can be up to 28 centimeters/11 inches long.
