R.A.C Point
R.A.C. Point is a dive site with a beautiful underwater landscape formed by coral gardens, rocks and sandy slopes. It is a great spot to photograph coral formations and their colorful inhabitants. Even though the current can be strong around here, there are many places to hide from it while observing interesting sea life.
When To Go Diving
The months from December till June would be better for diving around R.A.C. Point, but it is also possible to dive here during other times. The water temperature ranges between 26-28C/85-92F, and the air is frequently about 27-30C/89-98F.
What to see
R.A.C. Point is full of fusiliers, damsels, surgeons, butterflyfish and cometfish. Other creatures here are nudibranches and crustaceans hiding in between the rocks. The highlight of this site is large manta rays and occasional reef sharks.
