Scuba diving in Heaven


The dive site is situated on a northeast of Balicasag Island. It presents steep slope with overhands, nice coral structures and cathedral-like cave. The site is mostly a drift-dive, though it is also good for snorkeling. Between 10m/32ft and 20m/64ft marine life is especially abundant.
When to go
Diving is possible all year round. The average annual temperature is around 26C/78F. The average water temperature ranges from 27C/80F to 31C/87F.
What to see
Divers can spot gold band fusilier, midnight snapper, trigger fish, scorpionfish, giant barracuda, blue fin trevallies, turtles, sharks and Napoleon wrasses. Hard corals dominate the shallow area, divers can observe whip corals, brown daisy coral and bucket sponges.
