Liveaboard cruises offering dives at the Split Bommie

All about Split Bommie dive site

Split Bommie suggests a coral formation divided by a crack, channel, or swim-through. This gives the dive more drama than a simple coral mound, with shadow, texture, and fish sheltering in the divide.

What to see

Look for reef fish moving through the split, small crustaceans in crevices, soft corals, anemonefish, coral trout, sweetlips, and occasional turtles. The sheltered cut may also hold cardinalfish and soldierfish.

When To Go Diving

Calm seas and good light make the site most enjoyable, especially from June to November when visibility is often stronger. Water temperatures usually range from about 24–29°C.
