Plate Top suggests a flat-topped bommie or reef plateau, with a shallow crown and deeper edges. The dive likely changes character as divers move from sunlit coral top to fishier drop-off.
What to see
Hard corals, plate corals, damselfish, fusiliers, parrotfish, butterflyfish, turtles, and whitetip reef sharks may be seen. Edges may hold soft corals and gorgonians.
When To Go Diving
Best during calm seas and good light, especially from June to November. Water temperatures generally range from 24°C in winter to 29°C in summer.
