All about Meros dive site

Meros, meaning groupers, is best treated as a reef or rocky site where larger reef fish may be part of the character. It has the feel of a Costa Rican Pacific dive shaped by boulders, ledges, and fish sheltering in deeper cracks.

What to see

Groupers may be seen, along with snappers, jacks, grunts, moray eels, rays, pufferfish, turtles, and schooling fish. Rocky ledges may also hold lobsters and small crustaceans.

When To Go Diving

December to May usually offers the clearest coastal conditions. Water is commonly around 26–29°C, though deeper sites may experience cooler thermoclines.
