Lokrum

Lokrum island is located in close vicinity of famous historical Old Town and during the speedboat drive you can enjoy the wonderful view on city walls. The island is protected park of nature and place of extraordinaire natural beauty connected to many legends. On the eastern part of the island, there is a 20 m tunnel taking divers to a small lake in the middle of an island called the Dead Sea because of lack of any underwater life. On the bottom of the tunnel, divers can see a munition remained from last war from 1990 to 1995 as Lokrum was one of the main points of defence of Dubrovnik. Unlike the Dead Sea, the tunnel is a home of plenty sea animals
