Malo Jezero is located near an uninhabited Island of Sušac, that is located in a north-east direction from Lastovo. This site features a cave shielded by a 30m cliff, measuring 24m in length with several entrances on different depths. These openings lead divers on to tunnels that connect the cave and the sea. The spectacle of lights playing off the walls and water surfaces also make this dive unforgettable.

When to go

The sea temperature ranges from 13C/55F in the winter to 25/77F in the summer, meaning that the high diving season is the period from May to September.

What to see

This site is inhabited by a rich and exquisite marine life, specially at the cave entrance and in the crevices along the crag. Divers can explore red coral, lush anemones, beautiful sponges and small fish, invertebrates through this flora, also divers can find such marine species as lobsters, damselfish, Mediterranean barracudas, dentexes, and garfish.
