Wreck
Flamingo sank in 1914 within a few miles off the Istrian shore, more precisely, within about six miles from Pula. The wreck is in a generally good conditiion. The bow is still mostly intact and its remarkable slender form is still recognisable. Stern is largely destroyed from the explosion of the mine which struck the starboard side. Flamingo resides in the silence of the sea at the depths of 40-45m/131-147ft, where a multitude of fish and crabs can be seen. This wreck is recommended for experienced divers only.
