Scuba diving in Vis wreck
Vis is a 120m/393ft cargo that sank in 1946. This site is suitable for advanced divers only, and requires specialised deep water equipment exceeding 40m/131ft in depth. Average visibility of the site is 10-15m/32-49ft.
When to go
Diving is better during the summer months. The water temperatures vary between 9C/48F in March and 26C/78F in July and August.
What to see
This wreck is considered one of the best preserved wrecks in the Adriatic and lies at the depth of 47-60m/154-196ft.
