B-17 is located close to the south coast of Vis and it is one of the best documented wrecks in the Adriatic sea. The depth at which it lies, 75m/246ft, makes it accessible only for divers skilled in technical diving with gas mixtures (TRIMIX).
When To Go Diving
The water temperature in the summer ranges between 23-28C/73-82F; the best time for diving is from May to September.
What to see
Average visibility of the site is 20 to 30m/65-98ft, although it can drop to 10-15m/32-49ft or increase up to 30-40m/98-131ft, depending on conditions like surf and algae bloom.
