Vruja Deep Canyon is one of Croatia’s more dramatic coastal formations, shaped by steep underwater relief and cooler water influence from the area’s springs. It has a rugged, advanced character, with depth and topography defining the dive.
What to see
Divers may see steep canyon walls, sponges, gorgonians, scorpionfish, conger eels, lobsters, wrasse, bream, damselfish, and schooling fish in the blue.
When To Go Diving
Best from June to October, but conditions can include colder layers due to freshwater or spring influence. Visibility is often strong, though temperature changes can be noticeable.
