The dive site is located in the waters of Rovinj. It is recommended for diving by AOWD divers only. The site features a ship wreck that fell apart in two pieces after hitting a mine, so the prow and the stern are now located at a distance of about 50m/164ft from each other at a depth of approximately 35m/114ft. The stern usually is of more interest to divers. The upper part is lying in 30m/98ft of water with guns well preserved and is covered with multi colored seaweed, sponges and moss. The wreck became a shelter to various species of underwater creatures.

When to go

The best time to dive this site is from May through September when the water temperature ranges from 18C/65F to 25C/77F. The average depth of the site is 30 – 35 m/98-114ft. Currents may sometimes cause bad visibility.
