All about Priscapac dive site

Depth max
40 m
Diver level
Novice
Visibility
to 20 m
The Priscapac dive site offers excellent shore diving opportunities for divers of all levels of experience. The site is located very close to the dive shop, meaning that divers can just walk with their fins and masks, or other heavier equipment, approximately 7m/23ft and then just jump into water from a nearby pier. The dive is usually done by swimming around the Priscapac peninsula that has rocky underwater terrain sloping gradually to a sandy bottom at a depth of 35-40m/115-131ft. However, the underwater scenery and marine life will start to surprise the divers even from 1m/3ft down.

What to see

While exploring the spectacular underwater terrain around the Priscapac peninsula, divers will see colorful sponges, nudibranchs, crayfish, possibly octopus, moray eels, damselfish, groupers, bream and other fish species.

When To Go Diving

Diving is possible throughout the year, however, the better conditions for diving are during the period from May to September, when the average water temperature is around 24-25C/75-77F.
