Brseč is situated in Primorje-Gorski Kotar. It is also known as pinnacle Brseč. The pinnacle is located 80m from the coast near the village of Brseč. It is a 60m/196ft long underwater pinnacle with the minimum depth of 7m/22ft. Outer side is a vertical wall that goes down to 45m/147ft and the inner side is 25m/82ft deep. Since the pinnacle is in the middle of sandy floor, fish often stays around. Water visibility is good (10 - 30 m/32-98ft) and currents are low.

When To Go Diving

The diving season in Primorje-Gorski Kotar runs from May through October. The best time to come to Brsec is closer to the end of the season when the water is still warm and the beach is much less crowded. Summer water temperatures range from 22C to 26C/71-78F at the surface but drop to 19C/66F below 12m/39ft. Winter water temperature is chilly and stays around 11C/51F at the surface.

What to see

Divers can encounter scorpion fish, butterfly fish, trigger fish, grouper and other species.
