Located near Mahe Island, this dive site is characterized by a variety of rocks populated with a various marine life. It is a good place to do night dives. Diving here is available for all divers.

When To Go Diving

Diving at L'îlot is available year round. The best conditions for diving are from April through May and October through November. The average air temperature ranges between 24-29C/75-84F. The average water temperature is around 29C/84F and visibility extends beyond 30m/98ft. The average depth of this dive site is around 20m/65ft with the water visibility of up to 30m/98ft. Currents are medium (1-2 knots).

What to see

Divers can enjoy exploring rocks, different species of corals, colored gorgonians and a variety of tropical fish. Whale shark watching season is normaly from October through December.

It was my first diving experience in Seychelles and I can tell it was really awesome! We have dived with Big Blue Divers in November last year, great team btw. The dive spot is located in reasonable distance from the dive shop and I would highly recommend it for visiting! It's probably the most bright diving experience I've ever had, so beautiful marine life, turtles, rays and we were so lucky to see whale sharks!!! Definitely in the top of the list and must-see dive spot in Seychelles. Rgds, Serge
