Coral Gardens is located just off the coast of Mahe Island. Diving here is available for divers of all levels of experience.
When To Go Diving
The best conditions for diving this site are April - May and October - November. The average annual air temperature in this area is around 25C/77F. The average water temperature ranges from 26C/78F to 30C/86F. The average depth of the site is 15m/ 50 ft with water visibility staying around 12m/40ft. Currents here are low (< 1 knots).
What to see
The site features a whole array of reefs encrusted with corals and teeming with various marine creatures. Colorful reef fish, snappers, batfish, fusiliers, lots of butterflyfish and angelfish, barracudas, Hawksbill turtles and sting rays are just a few to be seen here.
