All about Cap Ternay Marine National Park dive site

Cap Ternay Marine National Park, on Mahé’s northwest coast, offers protected reef and bay diving with granite scenery, coral gardens, and generally gentle conditions. It has a nature-rich, sheltered character, especially suited to easy reef dives and snorkelling-style marine life.

What to see

Hard corals, reef fish, parrotfish, butterflyfish, rays, turtles, moray eels, octopus, nudibranchs, sponges, and small crustaceans may be seen.

When To Go Diving

Best conditions are usually from April–May and October–November. Water is warm, commonly around 25–30°C, and visibility is variable but can be very good in calm periods.
